As a log bench it rises from a natural slab seat that rests on bowed, rounded legs rather than straight ones. The shape suits a porch, cabin or entry that wants a true rustic statement.

Shape And Rustic Character

The backrest is cut through with a network of rounded openings, so light passes through it the way it would through a real branch structure rather than a solid panel. Along the top edge, short branch tips stop the pattern instead of running it to a flat line, keeping the silhouette uneven and organic. The seat below is a natural slab, left with its own grain and edge variation, and it sits on legs that bow outward instead of running straight down. The openwork back and bowed legs together are what give this log bench its rustic, handmade character.

Solid Wood And Finish

Material: solid natural wood

Finish: hand-finished to show the natural grain and warm texture; available in four tones, Oak, Brown, Walnut and Black, at one price, only size changes the price

Every size is 14 inches deep and 32 inches high overall at the backrest; for a porch or patio, keep it under cover and wipe it dry after rain, and a fresh coat of oil once a year keeps the finish healthy

Where To Place It

The open backrest and bowed legs suit covered outdoor spots as well as indoor entries.

Covered front porch

Cabin or lodge entryway

Garden or courtyard seating

Entry hall just inside the front door

Covered patio seating area

Candles, figures and other decor in the photos are styling only and not included.

About the wood: Every piece is cut, shaped and hand-finished only after you order, so the grain, knots and tone on yours will differ a little from the photos.
