Thick rounded sides flare back out to the floor beneath a flat top.

The Organic Modern Look

The hourglass shape comes from thick, rounded sides that narrow at mid-height and flare back out at the floor, creating two large rounded openings that form an open middle shelf and a low bottom shelf. Both shelves are deep enough for books, bowls or baskets, turning this console table with storage into real everyday function. At 30 inches high and 12 inches deep, the curved silhouette keeps a hallway feeling open rather than closed in.

How It Is Made

Wood: solid natural wood

Finish: hand-finished to show the natural grain and warm texture; available in four tones, Oak, Brown, Walnut and Black, at one price, only size changes the price

Care: Use a soft dry cloth and keep clear of standing water and direct heat

Where To Place It

Two open shelves make this natural wood console table useful in tight spaces.

Along a narrow hallway wall

In an entryway with baskets on the lower shelf

Behind a sofa as a slim display and storage piece

Under a row of hooks or a mirror near a side door

About the wood: Nothing here is mass-produced: each piece is finished by hand once ordered, and its knots, grain lines and shade will vary slightly from what you see on screen.

https://rusticinterior.co/products/contemporary-hourglass-wood-console-table-with-open-shelves-for-hallway
