Three small drawers run along the side of the body, keeping keys, leashes or gloves close to the door without breaking the figurative silhouette. Every curve of the body is shaped by hand, so the proportions stay soft and rounded rather than blocky. It is the carved head, tail and paws that set this piece apart from an ordinary storage bench.

Solid Wood And Finish

Wood: solid natural wood, hand-carved; built to assemble and take apart for shipping

Finish: hand-finished to show the natural grain and warm texture; available in four tones, Oak, Brown, Walnut and Black, at one price, only size changes the price

Sizing: 14" deep, 21" high on the smaller size and 24" high on the larger size measured to the tail tip

Where To Place It

Its playful shape works best somewhere it can be a conversation piece as well as storage.

Entryway bench with drawer storage by the door

Mudroom seat for gloves and leashes

Kids' room storage bench

Hallway accent piece near a coat rack

Playroom seat with hidden storage

Baskets, hats and decor in the photos are styling only and not included.

Made for you: Since every piece starts from a different block of solid wood, the grain, knots and depth of color on yours will be unique to it.

https://rusticinterior.co/products/dachshund-storage-bench-with-three-drawers-hand-carved-solid-wood-dog
