The grain follows every turn of the spiral down to the floor.

Mid Century Form And Detail

The pedestal rises from an oval foot and twists a full turn as it climbs to meet the underside of the top, so the spiral reads as the piece's main feature rather than a detail. Because there is only one support, the top appears to hover above the floor, with open space visible on every side of the pedestal. Grain lines wrap around the twist rather than running straight, which is only possible when the whole base is carved from one block. Five widths share the same twisted-pedestal design, all 12 inches deep and 30 inches tall.

Solid Wood And Finish

Material: solid natural wood

On the widest sizes, keep heavier items near the pedestal

Finish: hand-finished to show the natural grain and warm texture; available in four tones, Oak, Brown, Walnut and Black, at one price, only size changes the price

Where It Works

A single twisting base works as a focal point in either an entry wall or a living room corner.

Against an entryway wall as a sculptural first piece

In a living room corner as a quiet accent table

In a hallway where the twist is seen from more than one side

Behind a sofa, topped with a lamp or bowl

Under a round or oval mirror

Wipe with a soft dry cloth.

Made for you: Your piece is hand-finished from solid wood once you order it, which means the figure in the grain and the warmth of the tone will be one of a kind.

https://rusticinterior.co/products/mid-century-twisted-pedestal-console-table-for-entryway-and-living-room
