A small carved crest sits at the top center, and heavy, gnarled legs splay out to the floor below a plain plank seat.

Rustic Lines Up Close

The backrest and arms are cut as one continuous piece of openwork, each branch crossing and rejoining the next rather than sitting as a flat panel. The legs keep the same root-like character, spreading wide at the floor the way a real log bench carved from a trunk would stand. Deep, uneven grain is left exposed across the arms and seat, and the whole piece reads as a single hand-carved mass rather than assembled parts.

Material And Craft

Wood: solid natural wood

Finish: hand-finished to show the natural grain and warm texture; available in four tones, Oak, Brown, Walnut and Black, at one price, only size changes the price

Every size is 14 inches deep and 32 inches high overall at the backrest

Styling Ideas

The open branch pattern and solid stance suit a covered porch as easily as an indoor entry.

Covered front porch beside the door

Wide entryway with room for the carved arms

Mudroom wall across from a coat rack

Garden path landing or patio corner

Hallway that wants one carved, rustic focal point

Figures and other decor in the photos are styling only and not included.
