A slim solid wood slab with a bark-textured front edge gives our Minimalist Floating Bathroom Vanity With Rounded Edge the quiet, rustic bathroom vanity look of a single cut log. It is hand-finished from solid natural wood in four tones, Oak, Brown, Walnut and Black, with every size built to order.

The Rustic Live Edge Look

The front edge keeps the rough, bark-like texture of the log and tapers gently toward one end, giving this live edge bathroom vanity its organic silhouette against an otherwise flat, smooth top. There is no base, cabinet or hardware to see: the slab floats flush to the wall as a single plane, so the natural edge carries the whole design.

Thickness: about 2" thick, the same for every size; every size is 18" deep, and because the front is a natural edge the depth varies a little along the piece. The slab hangs on concealed wall brackets that must be fixed into studs; drain and faucet cut-outs can be made to order. The basin, faucet, mirror and decor in the photos are styling only and are not included. Wipe standing water dry.

The top is planed flat for a basin, but the front edge keeps the craggy, bark-like texture of the original log. Toward one end the slab tapers and the corner rounds off softly.

Hung on hidden brackets

Concealed wall brackets carry the slab, so nothing shows underneath and the floor stays clear for a bin or a step stool. The brackets need to go into studs. Drain and faucet cut-outs can be made to order if your basin needs them.

Wipe standing water off the top and the edge after each use, and the finish will stay in good shape.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

Are the colours exactly as shown in the photos?

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
Does the item require assembly?

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.
Do you offer customisation?

Yes. Size, finish and fixing position can be adjusted on most pieces. Send us the dimensions you need and we will confirm the price and lead time before you order.
How should I care for the piece?
