A thick, flat-topped slab hangs on the wall with its front and end edges hand-chiseled into a craggy, rough-hewn face on our Rustic Floating Bathroom Vanity With Chiseled Live Edge. It is hand-finished from solid natural wood in four tones, Oak, Brown, Walnut and Black, with every size built to order, giving this rustic bathroom vanity a strong, earthy contrast.

Rustic Live Edge Form And Detail

The flat top stays smooth and level, while the front and ends are chiseled by hand into a craggy, broken-looking texture, the deepest live edge bathroom vanity treatment in the collection. That contrast between the calm top and the rough chiseled edge is what reads as rustic wood vanity design rather than a factory-cut slab.

The slab hangs on concealed wall brackets that must be fixed into studs; drain and faucet cut-outs can be made to order. The basin, faucet, mirror and decor in the photos are styling only and are not included. Wipe standing water dry.

The slab hangs on concealed wall brackets, so from the front it looks like it grows out of the wall. The brackets must go into studs, and drain and faucet cut-outs can be made to order.

Is the chiseled edge sharp?
No. It is rough in look but finished, so it does not snag towels or hands.
Does the black tone hide the texture?
No. The ridges and ledges still show clearly in black, as the close-up photo shows.
How do I keep it looking good?
Wipe standing water off the top and out of the edge crevices after use.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
Does the item require assembly?

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.
