A slimmer shelf hangs below a live-edge top, joined by one driftwood-style branch that rises from the floor and runs diagonally under both, with our Scandinavian Floating Console Table With Driftwood Lower Shelf For Entryway, a quiet japandi console table built around two simple wall-mounted levels. The floor stays open beneath, keeping the whole piece light and uncluttered.

Two flat boards, a live-edge top and a narrower shelf below, hang on the wall and are tied together by a single driftwood-style branch that angles up from the floor at one end. Nothing about the piece is carved or ornamented beyond that one natural branch line, which is what gives it a calm, quiet feel. The lower shelf gives real entryway table with storage for books or a small basket without adding a cabinet.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
Does the item require assembly?

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.
