Vertical planks of uneven height climb behind the pillows on our Handcrafted Skyline Wood Headboard With Rough Cut Plank Peaks For Bedroom, their raw jagged tops rising and falling like a distant skyline. It is a rustic wood headboard built for a bedroom that wants texture over polish, and the primary wall feature does the talking on its own.

Every plank keeps its rough-cut face, so the grain reads differently board to board and the top line never repeats twice. The panel is 2" thick and holds that uneven crest for its full width, giving the piece a handmade, carved-from-the-yard look rather than a trimmed, uniform edge. As a carved headboard in spirit, it earns the texture honestly, from the saw marks left in on purpose.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
Does the item require assembly?

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.
