Our Handcrafted Wall Tree Bookshelf With Spreading Branch Shelves For Bedroom is a rustic tree bookshelf with a twisting carved trunk that climbs the wall and spreads into wide bare branches. A dozen shelves ranging from 5 to 25 inches long sit along those branches, turning a plain bedroom wall into a full tree-shaped library.

The Rustic Look

The trunk twists as it climbs rather than running straight, picking up real texture along the way before it opens into branches at the top. Shelf lengths vary from branch to branch, so the dozen shelves step up the wall in an uneven rhythm instead of a tidy grid. At 70 inches tall and 60 inches wide, it reads as a rustic bookshelf sized for a full bedroom wall, with the shallow 8-inch shelf depth keeping it close to the wall plane.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.

How is the timber treated?
