Our Rustic Live Edge Spice Rack Wall Shelf With Crown Top For Kitchen is a rustic wooden spice rack with four live-edge shelves and a raised live-edge crown above the top one.

Rustic Live Edge Form And Detail

Two upright posts carry four open, backless shelves, each one cut with a natural live edge instead of a straight factory edge. A raised slab rises above the top shelf like a crown, keeping its own natural edge for a true rustic look. The open tiers show off jars, bowls, plates and crocks from every side, since there is no back panel to hide behind, and it mounts to a kitchen or dining wall above a counter or table.

Lips, rails and rounded edges

Shelves are cut from solid wood with lipped fronts, rails or raised ends on many models, so jars sit securely, and the carved sides and cells are shaped and sanded by hand.

Grain and knots vary piece to piece, the character of real wood.

    Mount into studs where you can, or use anchors rated for the weight of full jars.

    Sets and singles

    Floating spice ledges are sold singly, and some come in sets of matching shelves. The set options appear on the listing.

Are the jars and spices included?
No. Jars, spices, utensils, plants and decor in our photos are styling only.
Does it have lights?
No. Our spice racks are solid wood only, with no LED or other lighting built in.
How is it mounted?
Wall racks, cabinets and ledges mount into studs or anchors. Use fixings rated for the load, and secure the tall 75 in trunk rack to the wall as well.
Is a ledge sold on its own or as a set?
Ledges are sold singly, and some styles also come in sets. Racks and cabinets are sold as one piece.
How do I care for it?
Wipe splashes and oil drips promptly with a damp cloth, dry straight away and re-oil occasionally. Keep it away from direct stove heat.
Do the four tones cost the same?
Yes — Black, Brown, Walnut and Oak are one price; only the size changes it.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

Are the colours exactly as shown in the photos?

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
Does the item require assembly?

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.
Do you offer customisation?

Yes. Size, finish and fixing position can be adjusted on most pieces. Send us the dimensions you need and we will confirm the price and lead time before you order.
How should I care for the piece?

Dust with a dry, soft cloth and wipe spills away promptly. Avoid harsh cleaners, standing water, and long spells in direct sun or next to a heat source. A wood conditioner once or twice a year keeps the finish even.
Do you ship internationally?
