Our Modern Mobius Loop Sculptural Coffee Table For Living Room twists a single continuous ribbon of wood into a Mobius-style loop that cradles the rounded top above an open center. It stands as a bold, modern coffee table first, its sculptural loop base doing more visual work than the rounded top above it.

Sculptural Form And Detail

The base is carved as one unbroken ribbon that twists back on itself, so there is no clear front, back or seam where the curve begins or ends. That continuous twist gives the whole piece a weightless, endless-flow look, even though it is cut from solid, heavy timber. The rounded top sits cradled inside the loop rather than resting flat on separate legs, keeping the focus on the sculpted base below. It works as a conversation piece as much as a surface for drinks or books.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

It was so much fun to watch, and it made me appreciate the table and the work behind it even more. This is not simply a piece of furniture-it is truly a one-of-a-kind work of art that feels personal and special. Our family will gather around it, enjoy it, and admire it for many years to come. Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
Does the item require assembly?

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.
