Product Details

A single thick wooden hoop carries a slim, oval-ended top, in our Modern Sculptural Console Table With Round Hoop Base For Entryway, a modern entryway table built on one bold ring instead of legs. A large circular void runs through the hoop's center, with a gently widened foot for balance.

Organic Modern Form And Detail

The hoop stands upright as one continuous ring, its grain curving around the full circumference rather than running straight the way a turned leg would. A large opening through the center lets light and floor show through the base, so the piece reads as open rather than solid despite its thick profile. The top rests on the hoop's crown and reaches out on both sides, overhanging the ring itself. Five widths keep the same hoop-base design, from a compact 30 inches to a generous 70 inches.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

Are the colours exactly as shown in the photos?

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
Does the item require assembly?

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.
Do you offer customisation?
