Our Sculptural Floating Wall Shelf With Mushroom Cap Design For Living Room is a live edge floating shelf shaped after a woodland mushroom, with a soft live-edge outline and a carved stem-like support beneath it. The price covers ONE shelf in the size you choose; our photos group three together just to show how several can share one wall. It's a playful, sculptural pick among our floating shelf designs.

Shape And Sculptural Character

The cap curves out from the wall in an irregular, rounded shape rather than a straight rectangle, with the live edge left soft and uneven around its outline. Underneath, a carved stem narrows down to the wall plate, doing double duty as both support and sculpture. Grain runs naturally across the cap's surface, following the curve instead of a straight board's lines. Grouped with two or three others at different heights, it turns a plain wall into one of our more playful decorative wall shelves.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

It was so much fun to watch, and it made me appreciate the table and the work behind it even more. This is not simply a piece of furniture-it is truly a one-of-a-kind work of art that feels personal and special. Our family will gather around it, enjoy it, and admire it for many years to come. Are the colours exactly as shown in the photos?

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
Does the item require assembly?

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.
Do you offer customisation?

Yes. Size, finish and fixing position can be adjusted on most pieces. Send us the dimensions you need and we will confirm the price and lead time before you order.
How should I care for the piece?

Dust with a dry, soft cloth and wipe spills away promptly. Avoid harsh cleaners, standing water, and long spells in direct sun or next to a heat source. A wood conditioner once or twice a year keeps the finish even.
