Our Nordic Tall Wooden Chest With Sculpted Wave Pulls For Bedroom keeps a calm, rounded case over four drawers and replaces hardware with one sculpted wave groove on every front. As a dresser with rounded edges, the corners ease down softly to a low plinth.

Shape And Organic Modern Character

Each of the four drawers has a sculpted wave groove across its front that serves as the pull, so there is no hardware anywhere on the case. The corners of the case are softly rounded down to a low plinth, keeping the calm, Nordic feel consistent from top to bottom. As a tall wood dresser, it gives vertical storage while staying quiet and understated next to the bed.

The carving runs across the drawers

The pattern is carved across the whole front, so when the drawers are closed the waves line up drawer to drawer as one continuous surface. Edges are rounded and sanded smooth, and the carved hollows double as the pulls on many designs.

Every front is one of one; grain and carving depth vary piece to piece.

Dresser questions

Does it need assembly?
Most dressers arrive ready to use. Where legs or a base ship separately, the hardware is included and they fix on in minutes.
Should I anchor it?
Yes for tall chests and anywhere children are around. Use the anti-tip fixing into a stud so it cannot tip when drawers are open.
How is the size given?
Every size lists width x depth x height. Check the wall length and leave room in front to pull the drawers fully out.
How do I care for the carving?
Dust the carved fronts with a soft brush, wipe with a barely damp cloth and re-oil now and then to keep the grain rich.
What is shown with it?
Lamps, mirrors and decor in our photos are styling only and are not included. You receive the wooden dresser.
Do the four tones cost the same?
Yes — Black, Brown, Walnut and Oak are one price; only the size changes it.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

Are the colours exactly as shown in the photos?

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
Does the item require assembly?

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.
Do you offer customisation?

Yes. Size, finish and fixing position can be adjusted on most pieces. Send us the dimensions you need and we will confirm the price and lead time before you order.
How should I care for the piece?

Dust with a dry, soft cloth and wipe spills away promptly. Avoid harsh cleaners, standing water, and long spells in direct sun or next to a heat source. A wood conditioner once or twice a year keeps the finish even.
