Our Organic Driftwood Console Table With Tree Branch Shelves For Living Room pairs a live-edge console with a driftwood trunk that climbs the wall from one leg and spreads into branches holding two curved floating shelves above. As a single carved console table and shelf unit, it brings a sculptural, tree-like form into a living room in one connected piece.

Sculptural Lines Up Close

Two twisted driftwood legs support the console below, and from the left leg a trunk continues upward, forking into branches that each carry a curved shelf for books and small decor. Because the shelves follow the natural shape of the branches, their lengths vary a little from piece to piece rather than sitting perfectly level. The soft live-edge top keeps its natural contour, tying the lower console visually to the branch structure rising above it. Every size stands 30 inches tall and 12 inches deep; the width option sets the length of the console top.

  • Build: solid natural wood, hand-finished to order; the trunk and shelves ship in separate parts with simple assembly

Two twisted legs with open knots

The soft live-edge top rests on two driftwood legs that twist down to splayed roots. Near the top each leg opens into a small natural gap, so light passes right through the wood.

The artificial leaves on the branch tips, books, vases and plants are decorative styling only and not included.

Putting the branch console together

    Set the console against the wall where it will live.

    Fix the trunk

    Join the trunk to the left leg and fix it to the wall with the included hardware.

    Hang the shelves

    Seat the two curved shelves on their branches and secure them to the wall.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

Are the colours exactly as shown in the photos?

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
Does the item require assembly?

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.
