One gnarled trunk, carved as the base

A console that grew its own legs

The live-edge top sits straight on a single gnarled trunk that twists and narrows on its way to the floor, so the base looks less like furniture joinery and more like a tree that stopped growing at table height.

The top keeps its raw edge

The front edge of the slab is left uncut, so its line wanders instead of running straight. Every knot and curve in the trunk below carries up into a slightly different silhouette at the top.

About the trunk base

Does the trunk shape change with the width?
The twist and taper are hand-carved into each base, so the silhouette follows the same idea at every width but is never a straight copy.
Will my console match the photos exactly?
The shape will. Grain and knots follow the piece of wood, so the trunk's markings are unique to yours.
How do I clean it?
Wipe with a dry or lightly damp cloth and keep it away from standing water.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

It is absolutely gorgeous-even more beautiful than I imagined-and every detail reflects Sefa's incredible talent, care, and craftsmanship. One of the most special parts of this experience was being able to watch the entire process, from the original rough walnut planks, to seeing them shaped and sanded, and finally to seeing the finished table in my home. It was so much fun to watch, and it made me appreciate the table and the work behind it even more. This is not simply a piece of furniture-it is truly a one-of-a-kind work of art that feels personal and special. Our family will gather around it, enjoy it, and admire it for many years to come. Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
Does the item require assembly?

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.
Do you offer customisation?

Yes. Size, finish and fixing position can be adjusted on most pieces. Send us the dimensions you need and we will confirm the price and lead time before you order.
How should I care for the piece?
