Top and base flow as one piece on our Organic Sculptural Console Table With Swooping Pedestal For Entryway, a carved console table built around a single curving support. A softly rounded top sweeps down into a curving pedestal with an open cut-out beneath the top, then flares out into a wide foot that keeps it steady. It is a chunky wood console table with real sculptural weight.

Shape And Sculptural Character

Top and base are carved as one continuous, flowing form rather than assembled from separate parts: the softly rounded top sweeps directly down into a single curving pedestal. An open cut-out sits just beneath the top, so light passes through that section of the pedestal before the wood flares back out into a wide, stable foot at the floor. This modern wood console table balances a tight cut-out high up against a broad foot below, giving the piece a clear sense of balance despite its sculptural curve.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
