A thick, hand-carved frame follows a soft pebble outline in our Sculptural Pebble Curved Bar Cabinet With Carved Open Shelving For Living Room, a carved wood bar cabinet that bulges and narrows from top to bottom. Four open shelves sit on a solid back, each one wide enough for spirits, decanters and tumblers, or bowls and books.

The Sculptural Look

The pebble-like outline is carved as one continuous shape rather than built up from flat sides, which is what gives this piece its sculptural read standing on its own. With no doors, every shelf and the full curve of the frame stay visible at once, closer to a carved tower than a conventional cabinet.

The rounded bays, wave fronts and arches are cut and carved from solid wood by hand, so each cabinet works as a piece of furniture even when it is empty.

Yes. For tall hutches and towers, especially in homes with children or pets, fix the top to the wall with an anti-tip strap.
How do I care for it?

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
Does the item require assembly?

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.
Do you offer customisation?

Yes. Size, finish and fixing position can be adjusted on most pieces. Send us the dimensions you need and we will confirm the price and lead time before you order.
How should I care for the piece?
