Our Retro Curved Solid Wood Console Table With Open Storage Cubby For Entryway brings mid century modern warmth to an entryway, its body curving gently upward at both ends like the hull of a shallow boat. Four slim legs splay outward at a sharp retro angle, giving this mid century modern entryway table its signature stance. An open cubby and two flush drawers turn the curve into everyday storage.

The Mid Century Modern Look

The continuous curved silhouette is the heart of the look: no hard corners, just one sweeping line from end to end. Tapered legs angle outward from beneath the body, a hallmark of the era's furniture. An open recessed cubby runs the length of the top for books or a tray, with two flush drawers set just below it for smaller items. Together the curve, the splayed legs and the exposed storage give this modern console table a warm, retro character rather than a boxy, straight-edged one.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

It was so much fun to watch, and it made me appreciate the table and the work behind it even more. This is not simply a piece of furniture-it is truly a one-of-a-kind work of art that feels personal and special. Our family will gather around it, enjoy it, and admire it for many years to come. Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
Does the item require assembly?

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.
Do you offer customisation?

Yes. Size, finish and fixing position can be adjusted on most pieces. Send us the dimensions you need and we will confirm the price and lead time before you order.
