A thick round top with a softly rounded edge rests on a carved base of two curving forms that sweep up like a wave in our Modern Round Coffee Table With Crossed Wave Base For Living Room. This round coffee table shows its flowing base from every side, so it looks finished from any seat in the room.

The Sculptural Look

The base is carved as two wave-like forms that cross near the floor and rise to meet the underside of the top, with no flat panel or straight leg anywhere in the design. Grain runs through the curves in a single sweeping line, echoing the round top set above it on this solid wood round coffee table. Because the base has no front side, the table looks equally finished pushed up against a wall or set loose in an open layout.

  • Sizes are diameter x diameter x height; the top is about 2" thick. Candles and greenery in the photos are styling only. Keep it clean with a soft, barely damp rag and use coasters under hot or wet items.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.
