Our Modern Solid Wood Round Foyer Table With Stacked Disc Pedestal is a modern wood entry table built from wooden discs of alternating width, stacked from a wide bottom disc up to the top. Each disc steps in and out, showing its own ring of grain along the edge. It’s a round pedestal foyer table with a clean, architectural rhythm instead of a single turned post.

Shape And Modern Minimalist Character

The pedestal is made of flat, rounded discs stacked directly on top of each other, each one a slightly different width so the column steps in and out as it rises. The stepped profile keeps every line straight and geometric, with no carving or curves beyond the circular edges themselves. Grain shows as a ring on the end-grain face of each disc, giving texture without any extra ornament. That restraint is what reads as modern minimalist rather than traditional pedestal design.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

Are the colours exactly as shown in the photos?

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
Does the item require assembly?

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.
Do you offer customisation?

Yes. Size, finish and fixing position can be adjusted on most pieces. Send us the dimensions you need and we will confirm the price and lead time before you order.
How should I care for the piece?
