Our Rustic Chunky Waterfall Console Table With Rounded Edges For Entryway rolls a thick plank top over rounded corners into two solid slab sides, giving this chunky wood console table a clean waterfall silhouette with open space below for baskets or pottery. The heavy, weathered surface keeps its knots, checks and saw texture for a lived-in look right at the front door.

Rustic Lines Up Close

The rounded corners are what set this piece apart from a sharp-edged waterfall build, softening the transition from top to side without losing the thick, chunky mass of the slab. Knots, surface checks and visible saw texture are left in place rather than sanded smooth, giving the piece real weight and character as a rustic console table. Because there is no shelf or drawer below, the open space under the top stays flexible for baskets, boots or a stack of pottery. Five widths are offered, all 12 inches deep and 30 inches tall.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
Does the item require assembly?

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.
