Few pieces earn the name rustic console table quite like our Rustic Driftwood Root Console Table With Lower Display Shelf For Hallway: a live edge console table with a long natural-edge top set over a base carved like a tangle of weathered driftwood roots. Between the roots, a low open shelf turns the base into real storage, functioning as an entryway table with storage as much as a display piece.

The Rustic Live Edge Look

The top keeps its natural, uneven live edge instead of a straight-cut line, so the outline varies slightly from piece to piece. Underneath, the base is carved to look like gnarled driftwood roots twisting and crossing down to the floor. Between the roots, a low open shelf holds books, baskets or a bowl. The result reads as raw and sculptural, closer to driftwood sculpture than a conventional table base.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
