Live-edge slab top carried on a dense natural tree-root base that flares out into its own wide wooden foot.

Every piece is solid natural wood, hand-finished to order so the grain and knots are unique to yours. All 4 wood tones sell at the same price — only the size you choose changes the price.

Wipe clean with a dry or lightly damp cloth and keep it out of direct, constant moisture. Width is the top's long measurement, Depth is how far it sits off the wall, Height is floor to tabletop.

Styling note: the white block, basket, vases and pendant lights in the photos are room styling only and are not included.

A dense root leg, raised on its own foot

One root base on its own wide foot

A tight tangle of natural root forms carves down from the live-edge top into a single sculpted leg, widening again at the bottom into its own wide wooden foot. It's a quieter base than a spreading root system, with the detail gathered in one place.

The white block seen behind it in some photos is part of the room styling and is not included.

The live edge leads the eye

The slab's uneven front edge is left exactly as it grew, so the straight carved foot below gives it a steady counterpoint. Mirror, vases and the olive tree in the photos are styling only.

Does the foot stand flat on any floor?
Yes, the carved foot is finished flat on the bottom so it sits level without extra hardware.
Will my root leg match the photos exactly?
The shape will. The exact tangle of the root forms is unique to the piece of wood used for yours.
Are the tones priced differently?
No. Oak, Brown, Walnut and Black cost the same; only the width changes the price.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

It was so much fun to watch, and it made me appreciate the table and the work behind it even more. Are the colours exactly as shown in the photos?

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
Does the item require assembly?

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.
Do you offer customisation?

Yes. Size, finish and fixing position can be adjusted on most pieces. Send us the dimensions you need and we will confirm the price and lead time before you order.
How should I care for the piece?
