Our Rustic Solid Wood Laundry Hamper With Lift Up Lid For Bedroom is a rustic laundry hamper built from thick solid wood boards that keep their natural, slightly irregular edges.

Shape And Rustic Live Edge Character

Nothing about the boards is sanded perfectly square; the edges wander a little and the grain runs bold and dark across the faces, which is exactly what gives this piece its rustic, raw-material look rather than a factory-finished one. A single plank lid hinges up for loading, and a cut slot in the side gives you a grip for shifting the hamper once it is full, no hardware needed.

Soft corners, solid sides

The walls are solid wood, joined and sanded by hand, and the corners are softened so the bin is easy to carry and gentle on fabric. A sealed finish lets you wipe it clean.

No. Our bins and hampers are solid wood only. Use any cloth bag you like inside if you want one.
Which ones have lids?
The laundry hampers have a lift-up lid; the storage bins, boxes and crates are open-top. Each listing shows its shape.
What can it hold?
Laundry, blankets, toys, magazines, shoes or firewood by the door; anything that fits the inside size.
How is the size given?

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

Are the colours exactly as shown in the photos?

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
Does the item require assembly?

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.
Do you offer customisation?

Yes. Size, finish and fixing position can be adjusted on most pieces. Send us the dimensions you need and we will confirm the price and lead time before you order.
