Product Details

Our Scandinavian Solid Wood Wardrobe With Scalloped Door For Bedroom is a wood armoire with drawers built around one carved, scalloped column. A tall left door carries a run of soft scallops down its length, with an open cubby tucked beneath it, while the right side stays fully open with a top shelf, a hanging rail and two deep drawers below.

The Mid Century Look

Rounded corners and slim tapered legs keep a fairly large, mixed-storage wardrobe reading as light rather than bulky. The scalloped column is the one carved detail, a soft, repeating shape instead of a deep sculptural carving, so it stays understated next to the open shelving. Splitting the case between one closed door and one fully open side lets you see at a glance what is stored where.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.

How is the timber treated?
