One thick, flowing base curves down and loops into an open shelf beneath a live-edge top in our Sculptural Solid Wood Bathroom Vanity With Open Storage Shelf. It brings the look of a modern bathroom vanity carved as a single free-form shape rather than built from flat panels.

Organic Modern Lines Up Close

The base starts under one end of the top, curves outward, drops low and rounds back in to form an open shelf before rising again to meet the counter at the other end. Every line is rounded, with no hard corners where the base meets the floor or the top. As a sculptural bathroom vanity, only the live-edge top hints that the whole base was once one uncut length of timber. The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
