Built around one flowing S-curve, our Modern Solid Wood Console Table With S Curve Base For Entryway is a narrow console table where the base is the whole design.

The Sculptural Look

The base rises from a broad foot at one end, sweeps up and across, and carries a slim top that cantilevers out over an open void, with the grain following the curve the entire way up. At about 12 inches deep it slips into a hallway or entryway without crowding the space, leaving room on top for a vase, a bowl for keys and a few books. The open void beneath the cantilever keeps the whole piece feeling light rather than heavy.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
Does the item require assembly?

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.
