One run of live edge slab folds down at both ends into waterfall legs in our Sculptural Live Edge Waterfall Dining Table For Kitchen, letting the natural edge and grain flow straight from the top to the floor. At a slim depth, it works equally well as a modern kitchen table or a compact desk.

Sculptural Lines Up Close

The slab bends downward at each end rather than meeting a separate leg, so the natural edge and grain travel in one unbroken line from the tabletop to the floor. No hardware or joinery breaks the surface at the fold, which keeps the piece reading as one sculptural form rather than a top plus legs. At a shallower depth than a typical dining table, it suits tighter kitchens as easily as an open dining room.

Where two slabs meet, a river runs

On a live edge dining table the two edges face each other and resin fills the gap the tree left. Every void, knot and vein is the tree's — sealed for daily meals and made to last.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

One of the most special parts of this experience was being able to watch the entire process, from the original rough walnut planks, to seeing them shaped and sanded, and finally to seeing the finished table in my home. It was so much fun to watch, and it made me appreciate the table and the work behind it even more. Are the colours exactly as shown in the photos?

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
Does the item require assembly?

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.
Do you offer customisation?

Yes. Size, finish and fixing position can be adjusted on most pieces. Send us the dimensions you need and we will confirm the price and lead time before you order.
How should I care for the piece?

Dust with a dry, soft cloth and wipe spills away promptly. Avoid harsh cleaners, standing water, and long spells in direct sun or next to a heat source. A wood conditioner once or twice a year keeps the finish even.
