Product Details

A slim top floats on a single twisted base in our Sculptural Solid Wood Console Table With Twisted Pedestal Base For Entryway, a narrow console table built for tight hallways and entries. A curved wooden ribbon wraps around a rounded solid block and sweeps upward to carry the top, so the whole stand reads as one continuous twist rather than a straight leg. The open floor beneath keeps the footprint feeling light.

Sculptural Twist Lines Up Close

Instead of a plain column, the pedestal wraps a curved ribbon of wood around a rounded block, twisting as it rises to meet the underside of the top. That ribbon-and-block combination is what gives the base its sculptural, hand-carved look rather than a machine-turned profile. There is no second leg, drawer or shelf competing with the twist; it carries the full 12-inch-deep top on its own. The grain follows the twisting ribbon, so it reads differently from every angle.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
Does the item require assembly?

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.
