Product Details

A single slab folds down at each end to form the legs of our Minimalist Waterfall Edge Console Table With Slab Legs For Entryway, wrapping the grain around the corners in one continuous line. As a modern console table with clean, architectural geometry, it suits an entryway that calls for straight lines over carved detail.

The Minimalist Look

Rather than attaching separate legs, the waterfall edge lets the top material run straight down to the floor at both ends, so the grain appears unbroken from the top surface through the sides. There is no stretcher, apron or hardware breaking up the silhouette, just three flat planes meeting at clean right angles. As a modern wood console table, the continuous grain is the main design statement, so the quality of the board really shows. The open space beneath the top leaves room for a stool, basket or stack of boxes.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
Does the item require assembly?

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.
Do you offer customisation?
