Compact enough for a shower corner, our Sculptural Solid Wood Shower Stool With Branching Curved Legs is a sculptural shower stool with a small dished top and softly flared ends.

Shape And Sculptural Character

Below the seat, curved legs branch out from a single central hub in an X, spreading wide for a low, steady stance rather than running straight down at the corners. That branching, almost starfish-like base is what sets it apart from an ordinary four-leg stool. At just 12" in every dimension it suits tight spots without crowding them.

Built for a wet room

Slatted seats let water run straight through, and dished, saddle and slab tops are sanded smooth with rounded edges for bare skin. Each piece is sealed before it ships so splashes bead and wipe away.

Grain and knots vary piece to piece, the character of real wood.

Can it stand in the shower?
Yes. It is sealed for wet areas. Wipe it dry after use and let the shower air out so the wood is not left sitting in standing water.
How do I care for it?
Wipe dry after each shower, rinse off soap residue now and then, and re-oil the wood every few months or when water stops beading.
What wood is it?
Solid natural wood, finished in your choice of four tones. It is not teak, and there is no stone, metal or plastic in the seat.
Does it need assembly?
Stools arrive ready to use. Longer benches may need the legs fixed on; the hardware comes with them.
How is the size given?
Every size lists length x depth x height. Check the floor space in your shower and leave room to step around it.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
Does the item require assembly?

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.
Do you offer customisation?

Yes. Size, finish and fixing position can be adjusted on most pieces. Send us the dimensions you need and we will confirm the price and lead time before you order.
How should I care for the piece?
