Product Details

Bold, swirling grain spreads across the top surface in our Contemporary Floating Bathroom Vanity With Swirl Grain Top, framed by a straight back and rounded corners. As a modern floating vanity, the shape stays clean while the wood carries the pattern.

Shape And Modern Minimalist Character

The back and sides of the slab are cut straight and square, so the piece reads as a simple rectangle. Only the front is left as a live edge, curving gently rather than running jagged, true to a live edge bathroom vanity rather than raw rustic. What stands out instead is the grain: wide swirling rings move across the surface, different on every slab. Mounted flat to the wall as a wood floating vanity, it is built around a single vessel basin.

Thickness: about 2" thick, the same for every size; every size is 18" deep, and because the front is a natural edge the depth varies a little along the piece. The slab hangs on concealed wall brackets that must be fixed into studs; drain and faucet cut-outs can be made to order.

What you get: ONE solid wood slab in the size you choose. The photos show two slabs stacked - a counter on top and a towel shelf below; to build that two-tier look, order a second slab (same or smaller size) as a separate item. The basin, faucet, mirror and decor in the photos are styling only and are not included. Wipe standing water dry.

The back is cut straight to sit tight against tile, the corners are softly rounded, and the front keeps its live edge. The swirling figure on top is the reason to choose this slab.

One order is ONE slab. The photos pair it with a second, plainer slab below as an open towel shelf; order a second slab, same or smaller, as a separate item to copy that look.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

Are the colours exactly as shown in the photos?

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
Does the item require assembly?

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.
Do you offer customisation?

Yes. Size, finish and fixing position can be adjusted on most pieces. Send us the dimensions you need and we will confirm the price and lead time before you order.
