A twisting tree rises from a spreading root stump in our Rustic Tree Stump Bench Coat Rack With Twisting Branches For Entryway, reaching out with branch arms for coats, scarves and totes. Built as a tree hall coat rack with its own seat, a rounded bench runs off the trunk on one leg, leaving room underneath for shoes.

Shape And Rustic Tree Character

The root stump at the base spreads out wide and uneven, carrying the twisting trunk up and out into a handful of branch arms rather than a single straight line. This rustic coat rack stand puts its bench to one side rather than centered, built as part of the same solid wood piece instead of a separate add-on. Branch arms reach out at a few different heights, giving coats and totes room to hang without bunching together.

Branch tips, carved antler points and flip-down piano keys are shaped from the same solid timber as the body — no screwed-on metal pegs to work loose.

How do the wall-mounted racks fix?
It mounts into studs or anchors; the fixings come with it. Use studs or anchors rated for the load you plan to hang.
Will a freestanding coat tree tip over?
Spread coats around the branches rather than loading one side; the weighted root or round base keeps it steady in normal use. Larger stands may arrive in sections that bolt together.
How do I care for it?
Dust with a dry cloth and wipe damp coats off the wood; an occasional coat of furniture oil keeps the finish warm.
Do the four tones cost the same?

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
Does the item require assembly?

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.
Do you offer customisation?

Yes. Size, finish and fixing position can be adjusted on most pieces. Send us the dimensions you need and we will confirm the price and lead time before you order.
How should I care for the piece?
