Sculptural Lines Up Close

A carved tree trunk twists up from a spreading root base to hold an oval live-edge top, its grain visible from every side. From the back of the top, a sculpted trunk with fine branches continues rising above the table, giving the whole piece real height rather than stopping at the tabletop. The oval top keeps its natural, uneven live edge, tying the carved base and the rising branch work together as one form. This live edge console table works best set against a wall, where the branch silhouette has room to read clearly.

A carved tree grows from the top

A twisted trunk rises from a spreading root base to carry an oval live-edge top. From the back of that top a sculpted tree with fine, reaching branches rises above the surface. The leaves on the branches in the photos are decorative styling and are not included.

Set it flat to a wall

The sculpted tree spreads wider than the top, so it is best placed against a wall where the branches have room. Under a staircase or in a stair hall it fills the empty wall above the table.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
Does the item require assembly?

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.
Do you offer customisation?
