Our Sculptural Curved TV Stand With Boat Hull Silhouette For Living Room sweeps its whole body like a hull, pinching in at the waist before flaring up into wing-like points at both ends. There are no separate legs; the curved form dips all the way to the floor on its own. As a modern tv console, it reads more like a single carved object than a box with drawers.

Sculptural Lines Up Close

A bank of push-open drawers sits at the center, flanked on either side by two large hollowed cubbies deep enough for books or boxed media. Because the body curves continuously from floor to tabletop, the whole piece holds together as one sweeping line rather than a case on separate supports. Four sizes run from 65 to 93 inches wide, with the largest stepping up to 22 inches tall.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.
