Log rings on one end

Look at the left end of the top and you see the growth rings of a cut log, as if the box was sawn straight from the trunk. Underneath, a carved root bends, arches and plants itself into the floor at both ends.

Is the root base one solid piece?
It is carved from solid natural wood to read as a single twisting root, so no two bases bend in exactly the same place.
Will my log rings match the photo?
The ring pattern comes from the wood itself, so yours will show its own spacing and knots.
How should I clean it?
A soft dry cloth is enough. Wipe up spills quickly and keep the table away from direct sun and heaters.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

It was so much fun to watch, and it made me appreciate the table and the work behind it even more. Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
