A sculpted tree-branch base leans and fans into limbs right under the top of our Contemporary Live Edge Console Table With Tree Branch Base For Entryway, a live edge entryway table with real branch structure. Two lower shelves grow out of the branches instead of sitting on a separate frame.

Shape And Organic Modern Character

The trunk splits low and spreads into limbs that reach the underside of the top, so the base reads as one continuous piece of wood rather than four legs. A small rounded shelf grows from one side and a longer live-edge shelf runs along the foot, both built for baskets, books or a catch-all bowl. It's an entryway table with storage built into the branch shapes themselves rather than bolted on.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

It was so much fun to watch, and it made me appreciate the table and the work behind it even more. Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
Does the item require assembly?

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.
Do you offer customisation?

Yes. Size, finish and fixing position can be adjusted on most pieces. Send us the dimensions you need and we will confirm the price and lead time before you order.
How should I care for the piece?
