A thick rectangular slab rides on one sculpted curl, with our Contemporary Wave Curl Console Table With Thick Slab Top For Entryway, a chunky wood console table shaped like an open C or a breaking wave. The curl sweeps down and runs out as a long, low tail that lifts slightly at its tip.

The Organic Modern Look

The base is carved as a single wave, curling under the slab top before stretching into a long, tapering tail that rises just off the floor at the end. Grain runs the length of the curl, emphasizing the motion of the carving rather than a static leg shape. The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

It was so much fun to watch, and it made me appreciate the table and the work behind it even more.
