Our Coastal Driftwood Console Table With Twisted Branch Legs For Entryway sweeps two twisted driftwood branches diagonally from floor to top, framed by square end posts, making this rustic console table equal parts sculpture and storage.

Shape And Rustic Driftwood Character

A long live-edge top rests above two twisted driftwood branches that run diagonally from the floor up to the underside of the top, each one framed by a plain square end post for structure. Near the floor, a full-length plank shelf spans the width of the table, ready to hold baskets, books or shoes. The contrast between the straight end posts and the twisting branches in between keeps the base from feeling either too rustic or too formal. With a shelf built in, this reads as a true console table with shelves rather than a top on legs alone.

  • Wood: solid natural wood, hand-finished to order so the grain, knots and branch lines on your table are one of a kind
  • Finish: hand-finished to show the natural grain and warm texture; available in four tones, Oak, Brown, Walnut and Black, at one price, only size changes the price
  • Height is measured from the floor to the top surface (30"); width is the longest point of the top and depth is about 12"

A plank shelf runs the whole width of the table just above the floor, between the square end posts. Lidded baskets, a row of shoes or a stack of books fit there and stay out of the walkway.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

Are the colours exactly as shown in the photos?

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
Does the item require assembly?

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.
Do you offer customisation?

Yes. Size, finish and fixing position can be adjusted on most pieces. Send us the dimensions you need and we will confirm the price and lead time before you order.
How should I care for the piece?

Dust with a dry, soft cloth and wipe spills away promptly. Avoid harsh cleaners, standing water, and long spells in direct sun or next to a heat source. A wood conditioner once or twice a year keeps the finish even.
