Our Scandinavian Solid Wood Floating Bathroom Vanity With Rough Sawn Front is a farmhouse rustic vanity built from one thick, straight-edged plank with square ends and a deeply grained front face.

Farmhouse Form And Detail

The front face is left rough sawn, so the saw marks and grain show plainly instead of being planed smooth, while the square ends and simple rectangular outline keep the shape plain and chunky. As a solid wood floating vanity, it skips any carved or live edge detail in favor of straight, practical lines that suit a sunlit, earthy bathroom. It mounts flush to the wall as a simple counter for a vessel basin.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
Does the item require assembly?

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.
Do you offer customisation?

Yes. Size, finish and fixing position can be adjusted on most pieces. Send us the dimensions you need and we will confirm the price and lead time before you order.
How should I care for the piece?
