Product Details

One slender driftwood-style branch drops at an angle from beneath the top to the floor near one end, with our Coastal Floating Console Table With Slender Driftwood Leg For Entryway, a live edge console table built around a single quiet branch instead of a full leg set. The back of the slab fixes to the wall, leaving the rest of the floor clear.

Wabi-Sabi Form And Detail

The top keeps its natural live edge, and the single branch leg beneath it is left in its weathered, irregular state rather than carved straight, which is the quiet, imperfect spirit of wabi-sabi. With just one branch reaching the floor near one end, the piece looks lighter than a console on four legs and leaves a basket's worth of space open below. It still reads as a rustic wood console table thanks to that one raw branch.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

One of the most special parts of this experience was being able to watch the entire process, from the original rough walnut planks, to seeing them shaped and sanded, and finally to seeing the finished table in my home. It was so much fun to watch, and it made me appreciate the table and the work behind it even more. This is not simply a piece of furniture-it is truly a one-of-a-kind work of art that feels personal and special. Our family will gather around it, enjoy it, and admire it for many years to come. Are the colours exactly as shown in the photos?

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
Does the item require assembly?

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.
Do you offer customisation?

Yes. Size, finish and fixing position can be adjusted on most pieces. Send us the dimensions you need and we will confirm the price and lead time before you order.
How should I care for the piece?

Dust with a dry, soft cloth and wipe spills away promptly. Avoid harsh cleaners, standing water, and long spells in direct sun or next to a heat source. A wood conditioner once or twice a year keeps the finish even.
