Our Sculptural Wall Tree Bookshelf With Sprawling Branches For Living Room is a wood floating shelf piece built from tangled, driftwood-style branches that twist together into a heart-shaped crown.

Shape And Rustic Driftwood Character

Several flat shelves are set in among the tangled branches rather than mounted below them, so books and small decor sit inside the sculpture instead of on a separate ledge. As one of our more open floating shelf designs, the branches leave plenty of visible wall between them, keeping the whole piece airy rather than dense. It hangs clear of the floor, light enough in appearance to work on its own as a feature wall.

Branches that curl into a heart

Two tangled, driftwood-style trunks rise from the bottom shelf, lean apart and curve back toward each other, so the crown reads as a loose heart. Four flat shelves sit inside and below the branches.

It hangs on the wall with nothing on the floor.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

Are the colours exactly as shown in the photos?

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
Does the item require assembly?

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.
Do you offer customisation?

Yes. Size, finish and fixing position can be adjusted on most pieces. Send us the dimensions you need and we will confirm the price and lead time before you order.
How should I care for the piece?

Dust with a dry, soft cloth and wipe spills away promptly. Avoid harsh cleaners, standing water, and long spells in direct sun or next to a heat source. A wood conditioner once or twice a year keeps the finish even.
