Product Details

An oval opening is cut straight through the base, with our Handcrafted Solid Wood Console Table With Pierced Pedestal For Hallway, an entryway modern console table built around one thick carved pedestal. The wide, gently curved top rests on this single trunk-like support.

Organic Modern Lines Up Close

The pedestal swells into a rounded foot at the floor and narrows as it rises, with an oval opening pierced through the base just under the top. Because the whole support is carved from one piece, it reads as a single work of sculpture rather than a table built from separate legs. As a carved console table it gives a hallway real presence without taking up much floor space.

How It Is Made

  • Wood: solid natural wood
  • Finish: hand-finished to show the natural grain and warm texture; available in four tones, Oak, Brown, Walnut and Black, at one price, only size changes the price
  • Care: dust with a soft dry cloth, wipe spills promptly, and keep it away from direct heat

Rooms And Spots It Suits

A single pierced pedestal keeps this natural wood console table from feeling bulky.

  • Along a narrow hallway wall
  • In an entryway beneath a round mirror
  • Behind a sofa as a sculptural accent table
  • In a reading nook as a display surface for books and objects

About the wood: Every piece is cut, shaped and hand-finished only after you order, so the grain, knots and tone on yours will differ a little from the photos. That variation is part of its character.

Pierced, carved, polished

An oval window through the pedestal

One thick carved pedestal holds a wide, gently curved top. Just below the top, an oval opening is cut clean through the base, and lower down the trunk swells into a rounded foot.

Grain that wraps around the opening

Polishing lets the figure of the wood flow around the oval and down into the swollen foot. Seen side-on, the whole piece reads as a single sculpture rather than a top on legs.

Baskets, books and decor in the photos are not part of the order.

Customer photo review of Branching Solid Wood Tree Bookshelf, Driftwood Sculptural Wall-Mounted Shelving, Natural Rustic

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

Customer photo review of Live-Edge Solid Wood Walnut Dining Table, Sculptural Resin-Filled Slab Farmhouse Table for 8

I could not be happier with my beautiful custom walnut table! It is absolutely gorgeous-even more beautiful than I imagined-and every detail reflects Sefa's incredible talent, care, and craftsmanship. One of the most special parts of this experience was being able to watch the entire process, from the original rough walnut planks, to seeing them shaped and sanded, and finally to seeing the finished table in my home. It was so much fun to watch, and it made me appreciate the table and the work behind it even more. This is not simply a piece of furniture-it is truly a one-of-a-kind work of art that feels personal and special. Our family will gather around it, enjoy it, and admire it for many years to come. I feel so fortunate to own a table handcrafted by Sefa, and I cannot recommend his beautiful work highly enough! ❤️

Frequently asked questions

Are the colours exactly as shown in the photos?

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
Does the item require assembly?

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.
Do you offer customisation?

Yes. Size, finish and fixing position can be adjusted on most pieces. Send us the dimensions you need and we will confirm the price and lead time before you order.
How should I care for the piece?

Dust with a dry, soft cloth and wipe spills away promptly. Avoid harsh cleaners, standing water, and long spells in direct sun or next to a heat source. A wood conditioner once or twice a year keeps the finish even.
Do you ship internationally?

Yes. Rates and transit times are calculated at checkout once you enter your address. Any duties or import taxes are set by the destination country and are the recipient’s responsibility.
