A carved, forked tree-branch pedestal lifts one end of the top while a floating two-drawer box holds the other, in our Handcrafted Wooden Console Table With Floating Drawers For Entryway, an entryway table with drawers that hides keys and mail without crowding the floor. One side is a floating entryway table in its own right, the other a sculpted branch support, so the piece reads as two halves of one design.

Shape And Organic Modern Character

The branch-shaped pedestal forks into two legs as it nears the floor, its curves rounded and sanded smooth rather than left raw, which keeps the look closer to a modern console table than a rustic trunk. Opposite the pedestal, the drawer box hangs below the top and fixes flush to the wall, its two drawers opening on a plain face with no visible hardware line. Grain runs continuously across the top from the branch end to the drawer end, tying the open support and the closed box together as one surface. Five widths keep the same split design, the drawer box growing from 16 to 20 inches wide as the table gets longer.

    Place the forked base where the open end of the table will sit.

    Level the top

    Hold the drawer end up so the top sits level along the wall.

    Fix to the wall

    Secure the drawer box to the wall with the included hardware, into studs or suitable anchors.

No. The drawer box hangs under the top and fixes to the wall; only the branch end stands on the floor.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

Are the colours exactly as shown in the photos?

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
Does the item require assembly?

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.
Do you offer customisation?

Yes. Size, finish and fixing position can be adjusted on most pieces. Send us the dimensions you need and we will confirm the price and lead time before you order.
How should I care for the piece?
