A thick live edge slab keeps its natural outline and sits on one carved tree trunk that forks into two branches under the top and spreads into root feet at the floor, in our Live Edge Slab Console Table With Forked Tree Trunk Base For Living Room, a rustic console table built as a single, organic support rather than a pair of legs. The fork opens a wide, asymmetric gap beneath the slab.

Rustic Live Edge Form And Detail

The trunk rises as one solid column before splitting partway up into two branches that each meet the underside of the top, so the weight reads as carried by a natural fork rather than two separate legs. Where the trunk meets the floor, it spreads again into broad root feet for a stable stance. The slab above keeps its waney live edge on both long sides, differing slightly from the photos on every piece we build. Five widths, all 12 inches deep and 30 inches tall, keep the same forked-trunk design throughout the range.

Where the trunk splits in two

The base starts as a single carved trunk with root feet spread across the floor. About halfway up it forks, and each branch reaches out to a different end of the slab, leaving open space on both sides.

The top keeps its natural outline, so no two live edges match the photos exactly.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

It is absolutely gorgeous-even more beautiful than I imagined-and every detail reflects Sefa's incredible talent, care, and craftsmanship. One of the most special parts of this experience was being able to watch the entire process, from the original rough walnut planks, to seeing them shaped and sanded, and finally to seeing the finished table in my home. It was so much fun to watch, and it made me appreciate the table and the work behind it even more. This is not simply a piece of furniture-it is truly a one-of-a-kind work of art that feels personal and special. Our family will gather around it, enjoy it, and admire it for many years to come. Are the colours exactly as shown in the photos?

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
Does the item require assembly?

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.
Do you offer customisation?

Yes. Size, finish and fixing position can be adjusted on most pieces. Send us the dimensions you need and we will confirm the price and lead time before you order.
How should I care for the piece?
