Wall-mounted with no legs at all, our Modern Floating Console Table With Sculpted Wave Profile For Living Room is a floating entryway table with real sculptural presence. The top curves down into a deep, rounded wave underneath and tapers back up at each end, so the piece looks carved from one flowing form. As a carved console table, it keeps the floor below completely clear.

Shape And Sculptural Character

With no legs or base, the piece mounts flat to the wall and lets the carved underside do all the work. The top curves down into a deep, rounded wave along its length, then tapers back up at each end, so viewed from the side it reads as one continuous carved form rather than a flat board on brackets. With clean carved curves and no applied hardware, it reads as a modern console table even without legs.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

It was so much fun to watch, and it made me appreciate the table and the work behind it even more. Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
Does the item require assembly?

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.
Do you offer customisation?
