A straight solid wood top carries a built-in drawer box tucked under one end, while a hand-carved branch base with open loops and splayed legs holds up the rest, in our Modern Sculptural Wood Console Table With Built In Drawers For Entryway, a modern entryway table with storage that splits its design in two. One end is practical, the other purely sculptural.

Shape And Organic Modern Character

The branch base forks and loops as it spreads toward the floor, with open cutouts breaking through its thickness the way a real branch might fork around itself. Opposite that base, a drawer box sits flush under the top, closed and plain, a deliberate contrast to the open, carved shape beside it. Splayed legs at the branch end keep the stance wide and stable even though the form looks light. Five widths keep the same split design, the drawer box growing wider as the table gets longer.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
Does the item require assembly?

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.
