Our Modern Sculptural Wood Console Table With Y Shaped Trunk Base For Entryway rests a slim, rounded top on one flowing trunk-like support that splits into a Y just beneath the surface before sweeping out into a wide, curved foot. It works as a modern console table that reads like a piece of art the moment you walk into an entryway or hallway.

Shape And Organic Modern Character

The single base carries all of the visual weight here: it narrows from the top, forks into two legs at the Y, then widens again at the floor into one continuous curved foot rather than two separate feet. Grain lines travel with the sweep of the wood, so the figure on the surface echoes the shape of the base below it. Nothing about the piece reads as straight or boxy, which is what sets a wood console table like this apart from a standard four-leg frame. Every size stands the same 30 inches tall and 12 inches deep, with the width growing from a compact 30 inches up to a generous 71 inches.

The seller was very communicative throughout the entire process. They built the entire shelf, sent a picture, and allowed us to make modifications such as adding branches and leaves, so that we were perfectly happy with the design. The whole process was fairly quick and everything arrived well packaged. There is some assembly required, the directions are very clear, but you are essentially building a tree branch by branch and trying to mount the shelves level and keep everything secure as you go along. Overall extremely happy with the final product. Such a unique item to have in our home!

Very close, but not identical. Every piece is made from solid timber, so grain and tone vary from one item to the next — that variation is the point of a natural material rather than a fault. Screens differ too, so treat the photos as a guide.
Does the item require assembly?

Most items arrive ready to use. Larger shelving and tables ship in a few parts with the fixings and instructions included; assembly is straightforward and needs no special tools.
How is the timber treated?

All timber is kiln dried and treated before finishing, which removes moisture and any insects. Pieces are then sealed with a protective finish.
Do you offer customisation?
